Wizard’s first Law (Proudly a parody of Wizard’s first Rule by Terry Goodkind)
(Inspired by the entire sword of truth series, of which admitibly WFR was the best, most notable and notorious among the series are Plliars of Creation, Soul of the fire, (honestly what kind of name is soul of the fire?), and, more recently, naked empire and chainfire. Wizard’s first rule and it’s two direct sequels, Stone of tears, and Blood of the fold, may be worth reading but BotF gets more then a little preachy and turns the entire series in the wrong direction, should have left off after book 1 Goodkind, heres what happens since you didn’t.)

Major changes to the characters
All are in their early-mid 20s excepting Gratch. This changes everything and makes it so that there is a monstrously complex series of relations between the characters, I’ll show this below.
Many characters have been given roles that will reflect whomever replaces them, some who are supposed to die won't, and others have undergone major personality alterations.
Characters:
Richard:
Wizard's first rule: A forest guide living in the westlands, his father is killed by Darken and he discovers and saves Kahlen, whom he gradually falls in love with. He is the seeker of the truth and destined to try and save the world from the boxes of orden Darken is trying to collect and use. With sword of truth in hand, and logic as his weapon, he quests into the midlands to save the world. He is necessary to complete the magic of the boxes as he is the only person to have memorised the book of shadows.
Wizard's first law changes: Instead of acting in a logical manor, he's kind of slow and clumsy, can't use his sword to save his life, but manages to win by blind luck sometimes, he has a great temper and is tolerated by both sides because of his necessity.
Kahlen:
Wizard's first rule: A kind and generous ruler, her family is killed by Darken and she flees to the westlands looking for a seeker of the truth. She is virginal and reserved, holding love for all of her people and friends, and wishes to see the Midlands back under the rule that will allow them to prosper and advance. Quests into the midlands alongside Richard. Is a confessor (has power to make people love her by touch)
Wizard's first law changes: Replace the word Virginal with Sex crazed, reserved with frenzied, holding love with holding lust, and allow them to prosper and advance with allow them to lust and spawn. Is a confessor but rarely has to worry about her power effecting those in sex unless she actually loves them which almost never happens has Chase’s child (little control of her power but a very, very talented whore)
Zedd:
Wizard's first rule: An intelligent and somewhat eccentric old man who is actually a wizard and Richard's grandfather, he is a skilled liar and mage, with a long history of performing valorous and noble deeds. Quests into the midlands after the boxes of orden.
Wizard's first law changes: The intelligent and old wizard with a long history of noble deeds was his father, while he is somewhat talented his spells often backfire and he is a poor liar but claims to be a great and powerful wizard of the first order (which most people realise is a lie). Thanks to a backfiring spell, has become a woman and seeks to hide it.
Darken:
Wizard's first rule: Cruel, reserved, and cold ruler of D'Hara, he is evil and tries to use the magic of orden to shape the world into his control. Commands people to capture Kahlen and Richard, and considers himself fair and good and is Richard's father. Has incredibly good looks for the most part but many scars from fire down his chest and arm. Dies when Richard tricks him.
Wizard's first law changes: The reserve and calm is occasionally broken by fits of violent anger, knows he's an evil bastard and loves it and is Richard's brother, his scaring is fake and made to make people pity him. Does not die at the end but lives to continue causing trouble.
Denna:
Wizard's first rule: Mord-sith (women who torture D'Haran prisoners and are experts at fighting mages), she at first is evil but only because she was broken and evily tortured herself. Falls in love with Richard and gives him the strength to fight Darken in the final battle by letting him kill her. Just a normal mord-sith, nothing special.
Wizard's first law changes: Is truly evil, not because of torture which is a lie, also lies about loving Richard to make his pain worse, she enjoys giving the pain. Not a normal mord-sith, she is commander of the mord-sith of D'Hara but her role is hidden from most for security purposes. Does not die at the end but lives to continue causing trouble.
Chase:
Wizard's first rule: A boundary warden who carries a lot of weapons, strong and skilled but not the most intelligent man, he none the less has a great deal of courage and knowledge of his area of expertise, the boundary and fighting. Joins the quest and ventures into the midlands with Richard to stop Darken.
Wizard's first law changes: no longer carries a lot of weapons, carries a ridiculous amount of them, and is unrealistically skilled with all of them, would make in short a far better hero then Richard, however he always says the wrong thing and has the worst luck in the world.
Deminin:
Wizard's first rule: A talented general working for Darken, he is the leader of D'Hara's elite military force, the quads (anti-confessors as mord sith are anti-wizards.) His major vice is that he likes to "touch" small boys, and this causes problems in many cases.
Wizard's first law change: All of his traits are tripled, so he's incredibly blunt and his "vice" causes everyone to hate him and stuff gets thrown at him. Is always skulking around.
Shota:
Wizard’s first rule: An Insane and powerful witch who lives alone with monsters who do her bidding, gives Richard cryptic advice about the boxes and tells him never to have children with Kahlen because the child will be too powerful.
Wizard’s first law change: Shota suffers from several forms of paranoia and is afraid of everything and anything that could challenge her power which is mostly faked.
Adie:
Wizard’s first rule: A kind if slightly crazy old woman who is blind and crippled but can see people’s auras. she gives Richard a stone to mask his presence in the boundary and tends to Chase and Zead’s wounds and later falls in love with Zead, who gives her back her leg.
Wizard’s first law change: Not actually blind Adie pretends to be so that people will pity her and give her free stuff. Is a man but pretends to be a woman, once again to get pity.
Scarlet:
Wizard’s first rule: A red dragon whose child is being held hostage by Darken Rahl, she serves the dark wizard but despises him, she later aid’s Richard who has a wizard web cast on him in exchange for his help in rescuing her son from a pack of gars, she can see through magic but the wizard web cast of Richard prevents the other cast members from understanding her. frequently jokes about eating Richard.
Wizard’s first law change: actually tries to eat Richard on several occasions and helps him because he (dragon is now male) finds him attractive sexually
Constance:
Wizard’s first rule: Denna’s friend and an allied Mord-stih who helps her torture Richard, she is later killed by him when he is set free by Denna.
Wizard’s first law change: actually quite prudish she is slightly over-weight and does everything she can to hide it
Brophy:
Wizard’s first rule: A former thief but good man who was convicted of a crime he didn’t commit by Deminin, asked for a confession which as good as proves he was innocent but Kahlen still had to touch him which broke her heart, was later turned into a wolf by a wizard to cancel out the confessor power, Brophy joins Richard’s group and helps them because he’s a good guy and he still admires and wants to protect Kahlen. killed by Nass
Wizard’s first law change: Still a major thief, actually touched by Kahlen when she lost control during sex joins the group because he wants to steal Richard’s sword (stays because he wants to steal all the treasure he can get.) and he and Kahlen are still lovers, like denna and darken lives through the book
Gilbert:
Wizard’s first rule: A kindly wizard who inlists the help of a little girl to steal the box from a corrupt queen and her nasty little girl who he’s working for to protect the box, is killed by Darken Rahl but kills several soldiers in the process.
Wizard’s first law: A lazy wizard who makes children do work for him, has about 500 slaves and is pretty damned evil, but hates Darken because of a past argument that he lost.
James:
Wizard’s first rule: A greasy and gross artist who works for the bad guys, can draw pictures in a cave and make them actually happen, is defeated by Richard who also seems to possess this seemingly common talent.
Wizard’s first law change: Has no artistic talent, really likes Denna, people don’t know much about him/her/it?, and often attacks people with art, reclusive and incredibly odd.
(Information about the later roles will be posted later)
